We work according to the professional regulations of the Federal Code for Attorneys (BRAO), the German Ordinance on the Profession of Attorneys (BORA), the German Ordinance forAttorney’s Specialisation (FAO) and, in the field of international law, according to the Code of Conduct for European Attorneys (CCBE regulations) and, unless otherwise agreed, according to the Federal Code of Attorneys’ Fees (RVG). On the basis of the BRAO, Attorneys are obliged to maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum insured sum of € 250,000.00. The details can be found under section 51 BRAO. Our professional liability insurance is provided by R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG, Raiffeisenplatz 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany. The insurance covers activities in Europe and does therefore comply with the requirements of Section 51 BRAO.
We do not take part in dispute resolution before consumer dispute resolution bodies.
